What is Eyelash Extension?

What do they look like and how do they feel?

They are weightless with a natural look and feel so they look like your own lashes… only better.

How long do the eyelash extensions last?

Because Adhesive is a strong with a long lasting bond and is gentle enough to be used on the most sensitive of eyes, lash extensions comfortably last up to 2 months with a touch-up in between (usually a 3 or 4 weeks). And with proper care and touch-up maintenance, lash extensions can sometimes last beyond 2 months.

How often should I get touch-ups?

It is recommended by the manufacturer to get touch-ups every 2-4 weeks. Your natural lashes fall off about every 60-90 days due to the natural growth cycle and are replaced with the new growth of an eyelash. Touch-ups are for replacing the fallen out lashes or replacing lashes that have outgrown the natural lash. Touch-ups take a shorter time than a full set application, with just about ten to fifteen lashes per eye, and are therefore less expensive.

Can I apply mascara to the eyelash extensions?

The biggest advantage of wearing lash extensions is that you don’t need to wear mascara. If you feel you must wear it, then choose only water-based formulations and consult with a technician providing your service. Do not use any type of oil based or waterproof mascaras.

Can I swim, shower, exercise or visit a spa while wearing eyelash extensions?

YES! Our specially formulated bonding agent allows you to shower, swim, and exercise. You can enjoy these lashes with little need to adjust your lifestyle. However, please during the first 48 hours it is not recommended to swim, spa, or steam. The adhesive needs time to cure and bond.

Can I use eyelash Curlers with eyelash extensions?

The traditional, mechanical eyelash curlers should not be used (these are the metal contraptions that crimp lashes with a pinching action). These will damage and break the lash bonds. It is important to understand that Extended Eyelashes are pre-curled and do retain their curl throughout their life.

How do I take care of my eyelash extensions?

To extend the life of your long beautiful lashes, follow these easy after care instructions:

• Avoid rubbing your eyes; be gentle with your lashes.

• Try to avoid sleeping on your stomach or on your lashes.

• Do not use a mechanical eyelash curler.

• Avoid oil-based makeup products and eye makeup removers, as this will weaken the bond.

• Mascara is not necessary but if you must wear it, apply to the tips only and use only a water-based formulation. No waterproof or oil-based mascaras should be used.

• Use water based eye makeup remover.

• Do not use cotton balls.

• Minimize your visits to saunas or steam rooms. Frequent exposure to heat may cause the bond to weaken.

• Get a touch-up within 2-4 weeks.
